Creed wins ARCA race; action continues today at Kansas Speedway with Kansas Lottery 300

Sheldon Creed (28) of Alpine, California, won the ARCA Racing Series event Friday at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

Creed, driving the No. 28 Toyota, recovered from a spin to win the Kansas 150 Friday.

Placing second was Harrison Burton, of Huntersville, N.C., driving a Toyota in his first 150 ARCA race; and third was Michael Self, Salt Lake City, Utah, driving a Toyota.

Today, racing continues at Kansas Speedway with the NASCAR XFINITY Kansas Lottery 300 race at 2 p.m. There will be qualifying races for the XFINITY before the race.

There also will be two practices Saturday for the Hollywood Casino 400. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday at Kansas Speedway.

Joey Logano raced 191.646 mph to win the pole for the Hollywood Casino 400. Starting second on Sunday will be Kevin Harvick, and third will be Aric Almirola.
