Police respond to shooting near 3rd and Edgerton

Kansas City, Kan., police responded to a shooting near North 3rd and Edgerton Avenue about 4 p.m. Dec. 31.

Officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. He was shot twice in the arm and once in his chest, the police spokesman said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he is now in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
