School starts today for K-5, sixth grade and ninth grade students in the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools.
The first day of school for all students in the district will be Thursday, Aug. 8.
The first day of school for the district’s pre-kindergarten students will be Monday, Aug. 12.
In the Turner Public Schools, the first day of school will be Friday, Aug. 9, for first through fifth grades. There will be early dismissal on Aug. 9 and Aug. 12 for first through fifth grades.
The first full day of school for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in the Turner district will be Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Freshmen and new students at Turner High School will attend school at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
All Turner students’ first full day of school will be Aug. 13.
The first full day of classes in the Piper Public Schools is Aug. 13.
Half-day orientation for sixth grade, ninth grade and new students in sixth through 12th grades will be the morning of Aug. 12 at Piper High School and Piper Middle School.
The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Public Schools.
