Safe Halloween event planned Saturday, Oct. 31, at Eisenhower Recreation
A safe Halloween event for children will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Eisenhower Recreation Center, 2901 N. 72nd, Kansas City, Kan. There will be free hot dogs and candy for children, with games planned. The event is sponsored by the Leavenworth Road Association, Eisenhower Center, Wyandotte County Parks and Recreation and MultiplyKC.CC. The event is accepting donations and volunteers. Alcott sponsoring safe trick or treat event
Alcott Arts Center, 180 S. 18th, is planning a trick or treat event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. The event is in need of donations. There will be face painting, and a personalized poster. For more information, visit www.alcottartscenter.org/Alcott_Arts_Center/Welcome.html.

Other recreation centers in KCK plan safe Halloween events
Other Halloween Safe Night parties are planned by the Unified Government Parks and Recreation Centers on Saturday, Oct. 31, at these recreation centers:
