Ribbon-cutting held for new Lowell Brune Elementary School

A ribbon-cutting was held Thursday morning for the new Lowell Brune Elementary School at 2220 N. 89th Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas.

Ribbon-cuttings are planned later this month for the new West Park Elementary School at 2600 N. 44th St. and the Carl B. Bruce Middle School at 2100 N. 18th St.

The three new schools are part of the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools’ $235 million bond referendum approved by the Kansas City, Kansas, voters in 2016.

The size of the gatherings are being limited because of UG Health Department guidelines.
