The identity of a homicide victim has been released.
According to a Kansas City, Kan., police spokesman, the homicide victim June 30 was identified as Kelsey K. Ewonus, 22, a resident of Overland Park, Kan.
She was found dead inside a blue vehicle, near Francis Street and Bristow Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., from an apparent gunshot wound, police said.
