Fireworks displays in Kansas City, Kan.

Here are three fireworks displays in Kansas City, Kan., that we have heard about:

• The T-Bones have fireworks displays after the home games, which start at 7:05 p.m. July 3 and July 4 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan. For ticket information see www.tbonesbaseball.com.

• The Boulevard Drive-In Theatre, 1051 Merriam Lane, Kansas City, Kan., will have a fireworks display on July 4 before movies are shown. The fireworks display is expected to be around 9:10 p.m. The movies will start afterward. Movies to be shown include “Inside Out” and “Jurassic World.” Admission is $10 for adults and free for children accompanied by adults. • Lakeside Speedway, 5615 Wolcott Drive, Kansas City, Kan., plans a fireworks display on Friday, July 3. Tickets to the races are $12 for adults, $6 for children 7-12, and free for children ages 6 and younger when accompanied by an adult. Gates open at 5 p.m. Racing begins at 7:30 p.m. For more information, see http://lakesidespeedway.net/schedule/.

There will not be a fireworks display this year in Pierson Park in the Turner area because a company that formerly did the display is no longer doing them, according to UG sources. The event formerly was sponsored by the Turner Recreation Commission and the Unified Government.
