The first official board meeting for the new superintendent of schools in Kansas City, Kansas, was a short one.
The special online Zoom meeting Wednesday morning for the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools board lasted about five minutes.
Randy Lopez, school board president, welcomed Dr. Anna Stubblefield to her first meeting as superintendent of schools.
Dr. Stubblefield thanked everyone and remarked about technical difficulties in connecting to the meeting.
At the meeting, the school board passed human resources recommendations and a report. The report was not immediately available to the public.
