McDonald’s owners and operators in Wyandotte County are offering a free breakfast to teachers through Friday, Sept. 25, to show appreciation.
This week, the Kansas City, Kansas, McDonald’s restaurants are participating along with more than 130 across the Kansas City area, Lawrence and St. Joseph, Missouri, according to a spokesman.
Teachers may stop by between 6 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. through Sept. 25 for a free “thank you” breakfast, according to the spokesman. They should have a valid school ID. The drive-through window will be available.
The breakfast will be a choice of an Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles or a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. They will have a choice of a soft drink, tea or hot coffee, and a hash brown. The meal will be served in a Happy Meal box.
