Ellena Ignacio of Kansas City, Kansas, graduated from Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin, in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in conservation and ecology.
The 2018 Commencement ceremony took place May 27 in the Field House of the N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center. Presidential historian Jon Meacham delivered the commencement address.
The four-year, private liberal arts college has its roots in the Lutheran tradition.
