It was a packed house at Wyandotte High School on Tuesday evening as the Kansas City Symphony played in the auditorium.

The program consisted of “The Witch’s Ride” from Hansel and Gretel, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and a favorite, “The Rebellion Is Reborn” from Star Wars, Episode 8.

Proceeds from the event went to the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools to help fund music education in the district.

Kansas City Symphony members and their staff donated their time.

While there is no date set for a future symphony concert here, there may be hopes for another concert one day in Kansas City, Kansas.
