Michael A. Jones pleaded guilty today to one count of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his 7-year-old son, Adrian Jones.
Jones, 46, is expected to be sentenced in May in Wyandotte County District Court.
The boy’s body was discovered in a barn in November 2015 on North 99th Street.
Michael Jones’ wife, Heather Jones, who was Adrian’s stepmother, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder in October 2016.
When Adrian’s remains were found in November 2015, a forensics examination was required to identify them.
