Autumnfest continues Saturday

The Edwardsville Autumnfest continues Saturday, Sept. 17, at Edwardsville Community Center, 696 S. 3rd, Edwardsville, Kansas.

Music will continue through Saturday evening.

Musical acts on Saturday evening are the Mike Wheeler Band and Grindstone.

Fundraiser scheduled tonight for KU Health System

Treads and Threads, an annual fundraiser for the University of Kansas Health System, will be held tonight at the Truman Sports Complex, Kansas City, Missouri.

The event includes a pre-party reception from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by live entertainment and fireworks from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The event includes creative black-tie attire, food and drink and the music group Alabama.

Guests will be in the area between GEHA field and Kauffman stadium at the Truman Sports Complex.

The event is a benefit for patient care.
