KCKCC to hold free kids Halloween trunk-or-treat party Saturday

Kansas City Kansas Community College is holding a Kids Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Party.

The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in the parking lot of the Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center, 6565 State Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas.

Activities include carnival rides, inflatables, bounce houses, food trucks and more. It is free and open to the public.

“The Kids Halloween Party has been a tradition at KCKCC for more than 20 years,” said Andrica Wilcoxen, director of student activities at KCKCC. “Our community loves coming to the college to celebrate together as a family, and the college provides a safe, fun and exciting environment for our students, their families and our community.

Grinter Place Friends plan Halloween event Saturday

The Grinter Place Friends and Grinter neighborhood group are planning a Halloween activity from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the visitors’ center, 1400 S. 78th St., Kansas City, Kansas.

The event will include activities and refreshments.
