A “Live at the Legends” free outdoor concert will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 16, at the Legends Outlets, on the Lawn, I-435 and I-70 in Kansas City, Kansas.
The featured performer will be the Ryan Lynch duo, a Kansas City area musician, lead singer and composer of The Champagne.
Lynch will be playing rock, blues, country and soul music.
Those attending may bring blankets or folding chairs.
A new Vera Bradley Factory Outlet store at the Legends Outlets will open Friday, July 2, with a sale and a giveaway.
The first 50 customers to enter the store when it opens, between July 2 and 4, will receive a lanyard and a matching zip ID case in tangerine twist. Also, the store will open with up to a 70 percent sale on all items.
The store will open at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sarah Lehman, a spokesman, said.
It will be the first Vera Bradley outlet store in the Kansas City area, she said.
The new store offers accessories such as quilted handbags, luggage, travel items and gifts. The colorful, exclusive patterns and prints change on a monthly basis.
Its location is next to Victoria’s Secret near the Civic Courtyard Fountain at The Legends Outlets, at 1847 Village West Parkway, Suite K-109. The store will occupy 5,182 square feet. Brooks Brothers was formerly at the location.
After the grand opening, Legends Outlets will hold an Instagram contest giving shoppers the chance to win a Vera Bradley prize package. Details will be announced after the Fourth of July holiday at www.legendsshopping.com/blog/.

Vera Bradley joins more than 100 designer outlets, retail , dining and entertainment locations at the Legends Outlets. Rally House, a sports wear store, is slated to open in mid-July, according to Lehman.
The start date has been changed to Saturday, June 5, for free workout classes on the Legends Lawn, because of the weather.
Legends Outlets is partnering with Deposit the Work to offer free workout classes on The Legends Lawn every other Saturday this summer.
The workshop is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, beginning June 5, and continuing on every other Saturday this summer, through Aug. 21.
Jasper Sanders, certified personal trainer and founder of Deposit the Work, a lifestyle app that pays users to burn calories, will lead the classes.
The first class, on Saturday, June 5, will be on “Total Body Basics,” the basic moves of fitness for a full body workout.
The summer series will feature a different type of workout class every other Saturday on The Lawn. Class types range from cardio to high-intensity interval training to strength training and more.
Classes are free and open to the public as space allows.
Participants must sign a waiver before each class starts at 9:30 a.m., and waivers are online to complete in advance of each workout at https://app.waiverelectronic.com/render/templateByRefId/DepositTheWork.
The rest of the summer schedule will include an additional makeup class on June 12.
