Two Kansas City, Kansas, students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Students on the dean’s list in the College of Arts and Sciences have at least a 3.7 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and are taking at least 12 graded semester hours.
On the dean’s list from Kansas City, Kansas, are Gina Marie Lucero , senior, College of Arts and Sciences, anthropology; and John Evaristo Perez III, senior, College of Arts and Sciences, biological sciences.
Donovan Watts, Kansas City, Kansas, a junior in theater at Kansas State University, received honorable mention in dramaturgy recently at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for Region 5.
The festival, held in Des Moines, Iowa, was in late January.
Watts also performed in the 10-minute protest play, “Ignorant Silence,” at the event.
Several K-State students were recognized at the ACTS regional festival.
Eleven Kansas City, Kansas, students have been named to the dean’s honor roll for the fall semester at Wichita State University.
Students on the dean’s honor roll were enrolled at least 12 credit hours and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
The university in Wichita, Kansas, has about 15,000 students, offering more than 60 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in six undergraduate colleges. Its graduate school offers 42 master’s degrees and 12 doctoral degrees in more than 100 areas.
