County Administrator Selection Task Force meeting

The Unified Government’s County Administrator Selection Taskforce meeting is scheduled in person at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the sixth floor conference room at City Hall, 701 N. 7th St, Kansas City, Kansas. A meeting with GovHR search service is scheduled.

This meeting has been scheduled at the same time as the above Charter Ordinance Subcommittee meeting.

Environmental Sustainability and Green Energy Task Force meeting scheduled Tuesday

The Environmental Sustainability and Green Energy Task Force will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at City Hall, 701 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kansas, or via Zoom.

At the meeting, the public may hear sustainability initiatives used by area regional communities. Ways to improve sustainability in Wyandotte County may be discussed.

Overnight snowfall leaves about an inch of snow on the ground

About an inch of snow was left on the ground at 9 a.m. Tuesday after an overnight snowfall.

The light snow may continue to the north through late morning and early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The winter weather advisory ended at 9 a.m. in Wyandotte County.

Slippery road conditions are possible on untreated surfaces and bridges, the weather service said.

Below normal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, according to the weather service.

Today, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 40, the weather service said. A northwest wind of 9 to 11 mph will gust as high as 21 mph.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 22 and a northwest wind of 6 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 33, the weather service said. A west northwest wind of 8 to 15 mph will gust as high as 24 mph.

Wednesday night, there will be increasing clouds, with a low of 21 and a west wind of 6 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 38, the weather service said. A northwest wind of 6 to 14 mph will gust as high as 23 mph.

Thursday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 15, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 15, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 17, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 35, the weather service said.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 18, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny, with a high near 43, the weather service said.

Sunday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 26, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be sunny, with a high near 47, the weather service said.
