KCK student performs in Emporia State online production

A Kansas City, Kansas, student, Claire Segura, is performing in Emporia State University’s online productions in October.

The ESU Theatre is presenting its annual Homecoming musical as 20-minute programs livestreaming on ESU Theatre’s Facebook page. The free performances will continue at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and 19 at Facebook.com/ESUTheatre.

The performances are from the Karl C. Bruder Theatre, featuring different songs.

The numbers are all drawn from 21st century musicals, including “35 MM,” “Wonderland,” “Spitfire Grill,” “Mean Girls,” “The Addams Family,” “Be More Chill,” “Beetlejuice,” “In the Heights,” “Avenue Q” and more.

Donations will be accepted to benefit ESU Theatre student scholarships.
