Student named to honorary society

A local student at Kansas State University, Manhattan, has been named a member of Chimes, K-State’s junior honorary, for the next academic year.

Sydney Sprague, who will be a junior in human development and family science next school year, is one of several students named to the honorary society.

Members are chosen on the basis of a 3.0 grade point average and past contributions of scholarship, leadership and service to their fellow students and their community. Students participate in monthly service projects.
