PiperFest schedule changes because of weather

Because of rain that is forecast for Saturday, some of the PiperFest events on Sept. 28 have been shifted to Sunday.

The car show and carnival now will be on Sunday, while the pancake breakfast will be held both Saturday and Sunday.

The fun run and walk will still be held on Saturday morning.

The auction will be expanded and will be held 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, with items picked up from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Bingo and the pie contest will be as originally scheduled on Saturday. Entries for the pie baking contest will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The softball game and soccer skills camp will be canceled.

PiperFest is a benefit for the Piper Public School district.
