Marcus Davis of Kansas City, Kansas, has been awarded the T.J. Majors Award to Peru State College Peru, Nebraska.
He is one of more than 400 students who have been named to receive awards to attend Peru State College.
The Majors award requires a 2.6 high school grade point average and is an award for $4,000.
