Two students from KCK receive K-State scholarships

Two students from Kansas City, Kansas, received scholarships for the spring 2019 semester from Kansas State University’s Global Campus.

Students enrolled in online programs through K-State Global Campus are predominately adults attending classes part time while balancing work and family responsibilities. Many remain ineligible for the majority of scholarships, which often are reserved for full-time students. K-State Global Campus offers scholarships to both part-time and full-time students, providing more individuals the opportunity to earn a degree at their own pace.

The two Kansas City, Kansas, students receiving scholarships are Joanna Marin, senior in general business, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Education Students, and Hannah Morales, senior in social science, College of Arts and Sciences Scholarship for Distance Education Students.

Kansas State University Global Campus awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to 76 students across the United States for the spring 2019 semester. The scholarships ranged from $600 to $1,500 each.
