Some schools to start two hours late on Tuesday

The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools and the Turner Public Schools will start two hours late on Tuesday, Nov. 27, because of the winter weather.

The school districts made the announcement on their social media pages.

Morning preschool classes in the Kansas City, Kansas, district will be canceled, according to the announcement.

Employees at the Central Office and administrative employees for KCKPS also will be on a two-hour delay schedule.
