A walk-in shooting was reported at 1:52 a.m. Monday, June 29, at a hospital, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Police stated the location of the shooting was unknown. A female juvenile had an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound when she walked into a hospital, according to the police spokesman.
The juvenile was taken into surgery immediately, police stated.
No one had been taken into custody as of about 3 a.m. June 29, according to police.
