Suspect taken into custody in aggravated domestic battery case
A suspect was taken into custody around 3:08 a.m. May 28 in an attempted strangling case.
According to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, the victim and suspect were in a physical altercation. The suspect grabbed the victim’s neck and squeezed until the victim almost blacked out, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody.
Victim suffers gunshot wound
A victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound around 9:06 p.m. May 28 in an aggravated domestic battery case, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
When police responded to reports of a shooting, they found a victim who had been shot, according to the report. The suspect was taken into custody, and the victim was taken to a hospital.
