A white van traveling eastbound on Central struck the black vehicle, spinning the black vehicle into a red vehicle stopped at the intersection facing west on Central, the spokesman stated.

Woman injured while trying to cross I-70

The couple’s vehicle swerved to miss the body, then pulled to the shoulder near the woman.

“We thought it was a mannequin,” said a woman in the vehicle about their first reaction. Then the woman on the highway stood up, shaking, and walked to the side of the road where the couple’s vehicle was.

The couple offered the woman a place to sit in the van, while they called 911. The woman told the couple she had been trying to cross I-70 when a vehicle hit her. She had scrapes and injuries, according to the residents who stopped.
