Kansas Speedway tickets go on sale
Tickets for Kansas Speedway’s 2016 events are currently on sale.
Big race weekends this year for Kansas Speedway include May 6-7 and Oct. 14-16.
In May, Kansas Speedway will be the host for the GoBowling.com 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on May 7, and the Toyota Tundra 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on May 6.
In October, the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns with the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 16, a spokesman for Kansas Speedway said. The Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series race will take center stage on Oct. 15, while the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship race will run on Oct. 14.
Fans can purchase season tickets, individual race tickets and upgrade their ticket packages with various options, including Sprint FanWalk on non-NASCAR Sprint Cup Series days, and an individual day NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pre-Race pass which allows access to the infield for the pre-race concert and driver introductions.
NASCAR has announced this week that a format like the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is coming to the NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2016 with a seven-race playoff format with two elimination rounds.
It will be even more important for drivers to win the Toyota Tundra 250 on May 6, which will virtually assure them a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, according to the spokesman for Kansas Speedway. The Kansas Lottery 300 on Oct. 15 will be the first race of the Round of 8 for the Chase for the NASCAR XFINITY Series, and the driver who goes to Gatorade Victory Lane will automatically advance to the Championship 4 to compete for the championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
