Bonner Springs police investigating death

Bonner Springs police are investigating a death in the 800 block of North 141st Street.

Police were called to the address about 3:45 p.m. Nov. 19 on an unknown medical call, according to a spokesman.

A woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death is not known at this time. The case is still under investigation, the police spokesman said.

Monday, look for partly sunny skies and a high near 43. Monday night’s low will be around 26.

Tuesday, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 39. Tuesday night, there will be a low around 25.

On Wednesday, the high will be near 44.

Public asked to help identify two men in connection with battery case

Police have released photos of two individuals in connection with the brutal beating of a man on Nov. 16 in the 500 block of Center Street in Kansas City, Kan.

The public is requested to help identify two persons in a photo. One is a man wearing a black coat, sweatshirt and hat. The second is a man wearing a white or possibly gray striped shirt.

On Nov. 16, at 8:55 a.m., officers responded to a call about a man in his 20s who sustained serious injuries. He was beaten and possibly struck by a vehicle, according to police. The victim is recovering at a hospital.

Center Street is near South 7th Street and Ruby Avenue, on the south side of Kansas City, Kan.
