Police are investigating two deaths in the 6600 block of Tauromee Avenue.
At 9:30 a.m. Aug. 10, officers were called to the location and discovered an elderly couple in their 80s who were dead inside of their vehicle, inside their garage, a police spokesman said.
The cause of death has not been determined.
The identity of the victims will not be released pending positive identification and family notification.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
Police found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound about 7:46 p.m. Aug. 9 at 18th and Osage Avenue, Kansas City, Kan.
The man was inside a black sport utility vehicle, officers said. The vehicle had been reported stolen.
The identity of the victim is not being released pending positive identification and family notification, according to police.
