An open enrollment period for youth who are interested in gaining employment skills in careers such as construction and certified nursing assistant is being held by YouthBuild KCK.
The next orientation session will begin Tuesday, Jan. 20.
This two-week orientation session provides youth between the ages of 16 to 24 an opportunity to decide if YouthBuild KCK is the right program to help them reach their career goals.
After the two-week orientation, eligible youth are invited to participate in the 9 to 12-month YouthBuild program, where they may earn their GED, gain construction training or a certified nursing assistant ccertification.
Participants also get a living allowing while furthering their education and gaining employment skills.
