Youth Entrepreneurs will hold the final round of its annual business competition and recognition celebration on Thursday, May 29, in Wichita, Kan.
A total of 16 students from Greater Kansas City, southwest Kansas and Wichita will compete.
Before the finals, students wrote business plans, presented them and competed at the classroom and regional levels.
Regional winners received up to $1,000 that can be used for higher education or business capital.
Students competing for the top prize of $2,500 in capital funds include these from Wyandotte County: Rachel Rocha, Bishop Ward High School; and Josh Stramel, Washington High School.
