The Wyandotte County Women’s Republican Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the Moose Lodge, 6621 Turner Drive, Kansas City, Kansas.
The guest speaker will be Michel Abbott, Wyandotte County election commissioner, who was recently appointed by Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab. Assistant Election Commissioner Frances Sheppard also is planning to attend. There will be questions and answers.
Abbott will be introduced by Carolyn Caiharr, who is running for mayor of Edwardsville.
