Wyandotte County is under a significant weather advisory until 9:15 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

At 8:32 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Lathrop to near Spring Hill, and moving east at 35 mph, the weather service said.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible with the storm, the weather service said.
