A severe thunderstorm watch has been reported for Wyandotte County and surrounding counties from 5:35 p.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
As a cold front moves in, thunderstorms will develop ahead of it, according to the weather service.
Some storms could be strong with an isolated severe storm possible. Quarter-sized hail with wind gusts of 30 to 50 mph will be possible.
