Wyandotte County residents may recycle electronics today

Wyandotte County residents may recycle old electronics items today, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at the former Indian Springs parking lot, 4601 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.

Recyclers should enter the lot off 47th Street near Orville, according to Unified Government information.

If maximum capacity is reached before noon, the event will close at that time.

Items that will be accepted include computers, printers, scanners, flat screen monitors, TV sets, old cell phones, DVD players, fax machines, stereos, radios and tape players, PDAs, GameBoys, VCRs, cameras and other miscellaneous electronics.

CRT monitors and TVs will not be accepted.
