The Kansas City, Kan., Women’s Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for scholarships.
College scholarships will be awarded to Wyandotte County residents who are nontraditional women students attending any post-secondary institution, according to the Women’s Chamber.
The amounts will range from $500 to $2,500, based on available funds and individual need.
The scholarships will be awarded to nontraditional women students. Applicants should be 24 years of age or older, financially independent, and have dependents.
The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. June 1, 2016.
