Natasha Tone Pa Hote, 32, Excelsior Springs, Mo., was sentenced this afternoon in Wyandotte County District Court to 30 years in prison for the June 2013 murder of Richard Vertz in the 2300 block of West 39th Avenue, Kansas City, Kan.
Pa Hote pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Dec. 4, 2015.
Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Tatum prosecuted the case for the state of Kansas.
