Windy Wednesday after weak winter storm moved through Wyandotte County

A weak winter storm left a little bit of precipitation at 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to National Weather Service records, and has now moved out of the area.

According to the National Weather Service, the precipitation moved east of this area, but has left cold and windy conditions behind.

Today’s high will be near 40, with northwest winds of 11 to 20 mph gusting up to 29 mph.

Tonight, the low will be 22.

Thanksgiving Day, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 36. Winds will be calm in the morning and 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

On Thursday night, the low will be around 30.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 55. The wind will be from the south southwest at 11 to 14 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph.

Friday night, look for a low of 42.

Saturday, it will be partly cloudy with a high near 60. Saturday night, the low will be around 38.

Sunday, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 43. The low Sunday night will be around 23.
