A wind advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. tonight, and residents are advised to use extra caution while driving, and also to secure outdoor objects, the forecast said.

Today, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 84 and a south southwest wind of 21 to 29 mph, gusting as high as 45 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 65 and a south southwest wind of 15 to 18 mph, gusting as high as 37 mph, according to the weather service.
Tuesday, there will be increasing clouds, with a high near 82 and a south southwest wind of 15 to 18 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph, the weather service said.
Tuesday night, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 63 with a south wind of 8 to 11 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday, there is a 70 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, the weather service said. The high will be near 73 with a light and variable wind becoming south southwest around 6 mph in the morning. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday night, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 53, according to the weather service. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Thursday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 70, the weather service said.
