‘Wind in the Willows’ to be performed at the Alcott tonight, Sunday

“The Wind in the Willows” is at the Alcott Arts Center, 180 S. 18th, Kansas City, Kansas, at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29.

The famous children’s story by Kenneth Grahame is adapted for the stage by Mike Kenny.

The director is Katya Mason, and the co-director is Mark “Antony” Fletcher.

The cast includes Dakota Campbell as Mole and Driver; Maggie Martinez as Ratty and Washer Women; Layla Friend as Toad and Rabbit 2; Maria McQueen as Badger, Rabbit 1 and Bargee; Ella Cole as Otter and Clerk; Calliope Cole as Portly; Finnley Jefferson Smith Morris as Rabbit, Judge and Guard; Mark “Antony” Fletcher as Narrator, Weasel and Chief Weasel; and Joselyn Carolus as Gaoler’s Daughter and Horse.

This is Alcott’s summer youth production, with a few adults assisting. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children.

It is produced by special arrangement with Plays for Young Audiences.
