A wind advisory is in effect until noon today, the National Weather Service said. Temperatures today will be about 20 degrees lower than Tuesday, with a high in the mid-70s.
Winds may gust as high as 48 mph today, the weather service said. Tree limbs could be blown down.
The weather service advised motorists to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Also, residents should secure outdoor objects.
There is a 50 percent chance of light to moderate rain, with less than a tenth of an inch expected, according to the weather service.
For the rest of the week, dry moderate weather is in the forecast, with temperatures in the mid-80s.
Today, there is a 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before 10 a.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 75. A northwest wind of 18 to 25 mph will gust as high as 48 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is forecast.
Tonight, the low will be around 55 with a northwest wind of 5 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 23 mph, according to the weather service.
Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 86 and a west southwest wind of 5 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph, the weather service said.
