After a foggy start to the day, there is a slight chance for strong to isolated severe storms today, increasing tonight and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The main threat will be for the potential for large hail, otherwise expect small hail, gusty winds 30 to 50 mph and frequent lightning, the weather service said.

Tonight, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, the weather service said. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 66 and southeast wind of 6 mph.
Thursday, expect a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 81, according to the weather service. The south wind will be 7 to 13 mph, gusting to 23 mph. Between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.
Thursday night, there will be a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. , the weather service said. The low will be around 49 with a south southwest wind of7 to 10 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Winds may gust as high as 21 mph. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
Friday, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually sunny, with a high near 63, and a north wind of 8 to 11 mph, the weather service said.
Friday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 43, according to the weather service.
Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 67, the weather service said.
