Monday started with patchy fog in Wyandotte County and will continue cloudy before gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 78, according to the National Weather Service.
The south wind will be 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph, the weather service said.
The weather service said showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday and Wednesday night. Strong storms and widespread heavy rain are not anticipated with these storms at this time, forecasters said.
Tonight, the low will be around 61 degrees, with a south southwest wind of 6 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph, according to the weather service.
Tuesday, expect a high of 78 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.
Tuesday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 65. A south wind will be 7 to 9 mph, gusting to as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms is 70 percent, the weather service said. It will be cloudy with a high near 73. Between a quarter and a half-inch of rain is possible.
Wednesday night, expect a 50 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m., with a low of 50, according to the weather service. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is expected.
Thursday, it will be sunny with a high near 67, according to the weather service. Thursday night, the low will be around 46.
