After a snowfall of about 2 to 3 inches in parts of Wyandotte County overnight, the forecast for Friday calls for another half-inch of snow possible today, mainly before 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
A winter weather advisory is in effect in Wyandotte County until noon Friday, the weather service said. Accumulating snow could continue falling today until about noon, and then some snow flurries may fall during the afternoon.

Today, the high will be near 31 with a northwest wind of 9 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 24 mph, the weather service said. There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation, with less than a half-inch of snow possible.
Tonight, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 24 and a northwest wind of 8 to 11 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph, according to the weather service.
Saturday, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 38 and a west northwest wind of 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the afternoon, the weather service said.
Saturday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 25 and a calm wind, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 42 and a calm wind, the weather service said.
