While temperatures are warmer and the snow from last weekend continues to melt, there is still a potential hazard of black ice in the early mornings, according to the weather service.
Temperatures will drop below freezing at night, and in areas where snow melts or where moisture accumulates on the roads, slippery roads could result, the weather service said.
Looking ahead, there is no precipitation in the forecast through Christmas, Dec. 25, and through next Thursday. Rain is possible on Christmas Day, however, at a chance that is now below 25 percent and not showing on the forecast, according to the weather service.
Today, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 49 and a south southwest wind of 6 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 21 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 27 and a south southwest wind of 3 to 5 mph, according to the weather service.
Saturday, patchy fog will be possible between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., gradually clearing at mid morning, with a high near 53 and a south southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, the weather service said.
Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy, with a low of 33 and a light south wind, according to the weather service.
Sunday, it will be sunny, with a high near 57 and a south southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, the weather service said.
Sunday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 37, according to the weather service.
Monday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 61, the weather service said.
Monday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 41, according to the weather service.
