The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools is joining for the first time with Project Shine in collaboration with Caring for Kids to paint all the classrooms at M.E. Pearson Elementary, 310 N. 11th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
The community is invited to help with this effort by volunteering from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29.
Volunteers will need to be 16 years of age or older. All brushes, rollers, ladders and paint will be supplied. Breakfast, lunch and plenty of water will be provided for participants, too.
