A shooting on Friday morning in the 3300 block of Delavan Avenue left a victim with life-threatening injuries, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
Police were called to the location about 7:22 a.m. Nov. 16, and found a victim suffering from several gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated.
The victim, who was found inside a residence, was taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery, according to police.
A person of interest was taken into custody in the case, the police spokesman stated.
