The victim of a homicide on Sunday, May 26, on Parkwood Boulevard has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
The victim was Edgar Banks, 31, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the police spokesman stated.
At 1:58 p.m. May 26, police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3000 block of Parkwood Boulevard.
When they arrived, officers found a man who had been shot, the police spokesman stated. Personnel from the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department also responded and confirmed the victim was dead.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
