The victim of a homicide on Sunday in the 7300 block of State Avenue has been identified, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Marcus M. Johnson, 33, was a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the spokesman stated.
Johnson was taken to a hospital on Sunday, where he died from his injuries, according to police.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Major Case Unit.
