The victim of a homicide on Nov. 27 in the 500 block of Central Avenue has been identified, according to a Kansas City, Kan., police spokesman.
The victim was identified as Louis M. Scherzer, 29, a resident of Kansas City, Kan., the police spokesman said.
He was found shot, lying on the sidewalk outside, the spokesman said. He was taken to a hospital where he died later from his injuries.
The case is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Criminal Investigations Division, which is asking anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
